2001 LEGISLATURE'S NON-DUI LAWS The Georgia Legislature passes laws other than DUI or drunk driving laws. My friend, attorney Gus McDonald, found time to put new and amended Georgia laws in his synopsis*, which you can find here. His interpretation covers a lot of ground and can take some time to load with a slow connection. However, if you are looking for my own synopsis of the 2001 changes to Georgia's DUI law, click here. Or you can go here for the latest information on the 10 Day Rule. These two pages load fast even with a slow connection. If all you want is an easy-to-read and up-to-date version of Georgia's DUI law, you will probably want to read my Plain English Version . This differs substantially from my own synopsis of the 2001 changes to Georgia's DUI law, which was written primarily for attorneys, and explains only the changes themselves. The Plain English Version, on the other hand, covers the whole DUI statute including the most recent changes. It is written in everyday language and is designed to be understood by everyone.
*Please
note that the synopsis of Georgia's non-DUI legislation is Gus's own. If you agree, disagree, or have other
comments, you can email him here.
In any event, I encourage you to read the full text of the changes for
yourself
